Powered by Promethean

The Day of Learning: The Administrator’s Colloquium powered by Promethean designed for Baltimore City Public Schools has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, 2012. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to make the most of your current Promethean investments. It is intended for Executive Directors of Networks, Principals, Assistant Principals, and School Support Staff to provide support in developing school technology plans, increase collaborative staff activities, and examine best practices in the use of interactive classroom technology. This Administrator’s Colloquium is designed to fulfill the following:

1. Provide an opportunity for Administrators to collaborate and plan for the implementation best practices for Instructional Technology

2. Allow for Administrators to get hands on experience with ActivClassroom tools so he or she can deliver meaningful, in-time Professional Development

3. To explore best practices in Mathematics Instruction and to further develop strategies to reach the Special Education population.

Additionally, the Day of Learning for Administrators will offer a Promethean Executive Briefing designed to alert City School Leaders of new and innovative products. The briefing will promote conversation around the ongoing partnership between Baltimore City Public Schools, Promethean and Clinton Learning Solutions. We look forward to a time of conversation with leaders from the offices of the Chief Academic Officer, the Information Technology Department as well as Executive Network Directors and School Based Administrators.
